Letter to a Little Philosopher

This book is a letter from a new dad (me) to my new son, Mason. It’s all the things I wish I knew earlier. I’m still in the middle of writing this letter. Dear Mason,

You have just been born and I have just turned into a dad. I haven’t really ever been one to tell others what to do and you don’t look like you need any life advice yet but since I’ve been here a bit longer than you have, I thought I’d share with you some of my thoughts about this wonderful life. Take my advice here as you need it. Ignore it, disagree with it, or add to it as you see fit. I trust your best judgment.

This book is a letter to you. Each of these things is something that I benefited from knowing or doing and wish I had learned and benefited from them earlier. This is a letter from my past self to your future self. I look forward to enjoying the overlap of our generations and to talking with you about these things one day.
